Calling all book nerds! And, those that just love to read! 

Join us for the 2022 Extreme Book Nerd Challenge

The challenge began January 3, 2022, and ends December 17, 2022,
and is open to Kuna Library District cardholders ages teen-adult. 

Check-In Nights

Our next check-in night is coming in September, watch for the date and all the details! 

Read 50 Books 

• Books must be from the required reading topics list.
• Books must be teen fiction level or higher.
• Audiobooks can be counted towards the challenge.
• Books from other reading programs and book clubs can be counted toward this challenge as long as they fit into one of the categories.
• Record your books in your Extreme Book Nerd Challenge reading log.
  • Title, author, and date you finished the book must be logged. 
  • Bring your log to Kuna Library to have a library staff member sign off on your completed categories, this can be done daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly.

Read for 50 Weeks

• Books must be read during the challenge dates, January 3, 2022 – December 17, 2022.

Read 50 Categories 

• Choose one book from each of the 50 categories.
• Find the category list on the Extreme Book Nerd Reading Log.

We will be offering quarterly check-in nights where you can get your reading log checked off and compare books with other Book Nerd Challengers! Watch for check-in nights dates and times!
