Kuna Library Programs for Families

Our programs are changing!

Our fall program schedule begins the week of September 8, 2020

In order to comply with Central District Health guidelines, and to keep our patrons and staff as safe as possible, we’ve made the following changes to our programs. 

  • No in-person programs are offered at the library until further notice
  • Some programs are offered online via Zoom or Facebook
  • Some programs have kits that may be picked up at the library during designated times
  • Some programs are not currently being offered

Calling All Kids Fall 2019Calling All Kids

Complete at home kits
Open to school age children
Each week we will offer one activity that can be completed at home!
Kits are available for pickup Monday – Friday during library hours. One kit per child.

*Each week the activity for Calling All Kids is the same as the activity for Homeschoolers @ the Library.

Kinder-Set Go!Kinder-Set Go! 

Offered via Zoom Wednesday at 10 am
Participants must be age 4 by September 1, 2020
Registration required

 This hour long class is designed to work on skills that will help a child get ready for school through interactive play, hands on activities and focused instruction for parents. Register here for Kinder-Set Go!  For more details contact Alaina at (208) 922-1025.

Kinder-Set Go! is made possible by support from Tell Me a Story/Joshua’s Memorial Book Drive.


Music and Movement Fall 2019Music and Movement

Offered via Zoom Tuesday and Friday at 10 am
First session Tuesday, September 8
For children ages 3-6 and their caregiver

This fun class includes singing and dancing to some of our old Music and Movement favorite songs along with some new soon to be favorites!
No registration required. Must request Zoom login code and password to participate.


Toddle Time ProgramToddle Time

Offered via Zoom Monday at 10 am
First session Monday, September 14
For children ages 0-3 and their caregiver

This interactive class includes stories and music and movement songs. No registration required. Must request Zoom login code and password to participate.


Logo Virtual StorytimeVirtual Storytime

Currently offered Monday at 10 am
Beginning week of September 8, 2020  offered Wednesday 10 am
First fall session Wednesday, September 9 at 10 am

Open to all ages
Join us for virtual storytime on Facebook as Miss Claudia shares some of her favorite stories and makes some amazing crafts! You can make your own amazing craft by stopping by the library on Wednesday -Tuesday following storytime to pick up your very own craft kit! 
Virtual Storytime sessions are recorded Wednesday at 10 am.

COVID-19 Quarantine Boredom BustersWays to stay active, be creative, keep learning, and have fun! 

We’ve put together a list of some online activities, learning resources, live webcams, research tools, and virtual tours you can use to help pass the time, and continue learning, while we all do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19 through practicing social distancing and self-quarantine.
