We offer programs just for our adult patrons. One of our most popular programs is Fit and Fall Proof a free exercise class designed with exercises to help prevent injury. We also offer a book club and the chance for adults to win a book each time they read a book!  

 

Summer Book Club at Kuna LibrarySummer Book Club, August 16

Join us August 16 at 6:30 pm for our last Summer Book Club get together. Each month book club participates are given a topic, and can pick any book on that topic to read! We’ll discuss the book at our meetings. Sign-up at the library or call us at (208) 922-1025.

 

Book Reading and SigningBook Reading &  Signing, August 29, 4 pm

Author Lois Requist is coming to Kuna Library Wednesday, August 29 at 4 pm to read from and sign copies of her book, Late Harvest Green, an Idaho Farm Family Through the 20th Century.  Set in the Boise Valley, specifically, Kuna, the setting is a vivid part of the story. Let’s Talk About It

Kuna Library is hosting an adult book club called Let’s Talk About It. The first book in the series is The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. Register at the front desk to borrow a copy of the book and then join us on Sept. 6th at 6:30 p.m. to talk about it with a special guest scholar. It’s a lot of fun, so be sure to sign up today!

Adults, every time you finish reading a book, you can enter your name into a drawing to win a book? Drawings held every Monday and the winner will be notified. Entry forms are located at the circulation desk. Drawings open to adults 18 and over.

 

Fit and Fall ProofFit And Fall Proof 

For ages 55+
Classes offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30 am – 12:15 pm
  
Participants may register at the door at any session.
This free fitness program is designed to help senior citizens prevent injury. Participants learn simple exercises to increase strength, balance and endurance which can help prevent accidental falls and tripping.  All fitness levels are welcome!

For ages 55+
Offered each month on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 1-2 pm

Join us in the library conference room for  an hour of fun and socializing. We’ll have games, movies and more! 

 

The More You KnowThe More You Know

Open to ages 16+

During the course of this program we’ll cover a variety of topics including finances, building a resume, food safety, car maintenance, interviewing skills and more!
