Kuna Library Volunteers of the Year 2018

Congratulations to Chuck Gidney and his faithful companion Charlie our 2018 Volunteers of the Year!

Each year, one volunteer is selected as Volunteer of the Year. This year, the Kuna Library chose a team of volunteers, Chuck Gidney and Charlie as the 2018 Volunteers of the Year. Each week, Chuck and Charlie faithfully attend the Tales to Tails program. This is a program where young readers can sit and read to registered therapy dogs without worry of judgement or criticism. Chuck and Charlie enjoy coming and listening to children read. Chuck has said more than once, ” Even if only one child comes and reads to Charlie, then it was an hour well spent.” Thank you for your commitment to this program Chuck and Charlie!
