Did you know that we offer Programs at Kuna Library for more reasons than just because they’re crazy fun ways to spend your time?! That’s right, each of our programs aims to help educate parents and their children about the 6 Early Literacy Skills.
Early literacy is defined as everything a child knows about reading and writing before they can read or write.
By clicking on each of the images below, you’ll find more information on each of the skills, plus creative and fun activities you can do at home to help your child develop the 6 Early Literacy Skills. Activities are offered for children of all ages with categories for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
