Kuna Library offers a variety of educational resources for homeschool families and those seeking additional educational materials. In-person and online resources are available. A Kuna Library card is NOT required for in-person events or activities. A Kuna Library card IS required for many of our online resources.

Make learning fun with games that help build reading, math, memorization skills, and more. We have a wide variety of games available for all ages.

Our early learning kits are designed to help build and reinforce the six early learning skills:

Kits are available for one-week checkout and are limited to one kit per household. They are located in the children’s room.

Through Scholastic BookFlix, Kuna Library cardholders can access an online resource to engage young readers and help build their love of reading and learning.

BookFlix is designed for PreK-3rd-grade students.
The Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICfL) has a collection with 75% of its holdings dedicated to children, juvenile, and teen titles.
The Idaho Digital E-Book Alliance (IDEA) is accessed through Libby, or the school app, Sora. Find out how to add the IDEA collection to your Libby app.

Idaho Battle of the Books
A statewide, voluntary, team-focused reading motivation and comprehension program open to all Idaho students in grades 4-12, regardless of ability. IBOB is meant to expose students to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. The mission of the program is to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading, share the love of reading with students who have not yet discovered that for themselves, broaden reading interests, increase reading comprehension, promote academic excellence, and promote cooperative learning and teamwork among students.

Several times a year, we offer family STEM events. During the events, we have hands-on STEM activities for all ages.
Dates and times are posted on our website calendar, on Facebook, and on Instagram.

We have three study rooms available
Time Limit: Currently, there are no time limits set.
Frequency: Currently, there is no limit to the number of times per week a patron, family, business, or organization may use a study room.
Availability: Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tables and chairs: Each room has one round table and four chairs.
AV Equipment: A laptop is available for checkout at the circulation desk. A library card is required to check out a laptop.
Fee: There is no fee for use of a study room.
Educate Station is a learning resource of early learning materials for teachers and homeschool parents. Offering weekly and monthly lesson plans with printable worksheets in language arts, math, science, social studies, and social & emotional learning curriculum for grades pre-kindergarten through second grade.

Scholastic Teachables offers Kuna Library cardholders access to printable online learning resources.

A collection of electronic specialized encyclopedias and reference books on a wide variety of topics, including business, education, history, literature, medicine, science, and technology.
The Gale Virtual Reference Library is one of the many resources at LiLI.org that is provided by the Idaho Commission for Libraries and assisted with funds from the Library Services and Technologies Act through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
IdahoDigitalSkills.org offers Idahoans free access to online learning tools to increase their digital skills. Whether you’re learning how to use a mouse or applying for jobs online, there are a variety of tools and resources available. IdahoDigitalSkills.org was created for Idahoans to more easily identify resources that support them in their digital work and life.

Resources to help you prepare for the Idaho driver’s license written test. You’ll find study questions with immediate feedback and practice tests for a regular driving permit, a commercial driver’s license (CDL), and a motorcycle permit. Study materials and practice tests are free; no registration is required.
General topics for learning or refreshing skills in math, reading, writing, and computer basics.
College Preparation Center topics include ACT, SAT, AP, and PSAT.
Career Center topics include career preparation topics in allied health, teaching, law enforcement, and many more. Registration required.
Registration and Access: To access a tutorial, test, or eBook, all new users must register by clicking “Register Now” in the lower right corner of the homepage or “Register” to the right of any product title. On the registration window, users provide their name and a valid email address, create a password, and click “Create Account.” These are all required fields.
The email address will become the username and be used for a password reset if needed.
Returning users simply enter their username and password in the “Sign in to Your Account” section in the lower right corner of the homepage or “Login” to the right of any product title.
