We are excited to announce the library is expanding and remodeling!
The project includes adding study rooms, multi-use rooms, office spaces, painting, and new flooring!  

During the project, the library and some library services will undergo changes.
Below is a list of the current known changes. 

TIMELINE
August 2024-Early 2025

HOURS
The library hours will remain the same. However, there may be times when we’ll have to close. Any change to our normal business hours will be posted at the library, here on our website, and on social media.  

PARKING
Parking will be limited, especially during busy times.

ENTRANCE
During construction the north door will be the only available entrance and exit to the building. 

CONFERENCE ROOM
The conference room is no longer available for use. That space is being converted into a cataloging area, server room, and office space. Once the construction is complete, four study rooms and two multi-use rooms will be available for patron use.

FRIENDS OF THE KUNA LIBRARY PERPETUAL BOOK SALE
The Friends bookshelves have been moved to the north hallway for the duration of the construction. The next Friends Book Sale is October 3-5, 2024.

PATRON COMPUTERS
During construction, we will have a limited number of computers set up on the south side of the library. These computers are for adult use only.   

PRINTING
Printing is available from patron computers.

NOISE AND DUST
Yes, we are expecting lots of noise and dust during construction.
