Kuna Library Programs for School-Age Children

Due to renovations, the main library building is closed, and the Mayor’s Book Club is the only program offered.

As a way to keep our patrons and staff as safe as possible, we ask that you abide by the following protocols when visiting the library:
- Class sizes are limited, and spots are given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- If you or your child are not feeling well, please don’t attend our programs or visit the library.
- All programs are subject to change without notice.

After the Bell
Open to school-age children ages 6+
Discover new friends, talents, and interests at After the Bell, an afternoon of fun activities for school-age kids with different themes and activity opportunities each day.

Homeschool parents, with your Kuna Library card, you can now access the Pre-K- 2nd-grade curriculum through Educate Station.
Educate Station is a learning resource of early learning materials for teachers and homeschool parents. Offering weekly and monthly lesson plans with printable worksheets in language arts, math, science, social studies, and social & emotional learning curriculum for grades pre-kindergarten through second grade.

A book club for kids in grades 4-6
Registration for session 3 is November 15- December 5, 2024
Discussion night is Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6:30-7:30
How does it work?
- Sign up at the library and receive a copy of the book (one book per family, limited quantities).
- Read the book.
- Join us at the library to discuss the book with the mayor of Kuna on the announced date.
- Keep the book!
- If you signed up for Mayor’s Book Club and could not attend the scheduled discussion, you’ll have to wait one month before signing up for another session.
